Based at Coppice House Farm, Penkridge, Staffordshire, Arborchase aim to provide quality training and assessment and consultancy service with experienced and fully qualified staff.
Arborchase is an approved NPTC City & Guilds assessment centre and an approved learning provider for the MOD’s Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELCAS). The team is led by Mitchell Hicken, who is a City & Guilds NPTC instructor, Lantra training instructor, assessor, and utility arb verifier of assessors and has two decades in the arboriculture industry.

Mitch started his career in the arboriculture industry in 2007, following a resettlement package from the army. With an interest in trees and working at height, he started as basic climber, progressing to a tree consultant and now a training instructor and City & Guilds NPTC Assessor. Through his wealth of knowledge and expertise, he also provides a consultancy service including expert witness services.
